The space
The MAST Nido Scuola (nursery and preschool) is an educational centre offering an innovative, high-quality cultural experience: its pedagogical project centres on relationships, research and the wellbeing of the child and the community.
The Nursery, open to the children of Coesia employees and of the local community, opened in October 2012 and welcomes children aged 3 to 36 months in three groups. The Preschool has two groups, for children aged 3/4 and 5.
The Nido Scuola works in partnership with Reggio Children, Cadiai Cooperative and Giannino Stoppani Cooperative.
The sense of beauty
The architecture and furnishings of the Nido Scuola, like all the materials used in the children’s activities, are inspired by beauty as a cultural and relational element.
Books, play, English
Picture books are a crucial tool for children’s imagination; toys enrich their perceptive experiences and become learning tools; English is a bridge to creative ways of communicating.
The ateliers
Ateliers are places where children explore, discover and experiment. The Nido Scuola has ateliers of colour, sound, nature and the vegetable garden.
