Einaudi, 2026. In conversation with Marco Antonio Bazzocchi
FreeFree admission, booking required

Nicola Lagioia returns to the South where he was born, through the codes of the family saga. In Capurso the lives of two families intertwine with the stories of a community moving from the certainty of poverty to the mirage of wealth.
Whenever we look at the past, Lagioia reminds us that something in that same past comes back to question us, asking us to account for our ambitions and our fears, our loves and our betrayals, and how far we are willing to go to become who we want to be.
The author is in conversation with Marco Antonio Bazzocchi, full professor of Contemporary Italian Literature and Literature of the Romantic Age.
The event is in Italian.

9 pmPsychiatrist and psychoanalyst Vittorio Lingiardi reflects on the most fragile and vital places of existence: love and betrayal, body and illness, memory and loss. An autobiography in verse that finds its measure in the relationship with others.
6.30 pmDaniela Facchinato retraces the life of Massimo Osti, a “designer of function” rather than a stylist, who revolutionised menswear with garment dyeing and experimental materials. An intimate, choral journey, told through friends and collaborators, into the Bologna of the 1970s and 1980s.
6.30 pmJean Echenoz’s latest novel follows Robert Bristol, a B-movie director marked by precarious loves and many failures. Weaving together cinema, fiction and illusion, Echenoz questions the very meaning of creation. With Giorgio Pinotti, Editor in Chief of Adelphi.
6.30 pmMatteo Nucci retraces Plato’s life through the places, encounters and loves that shaped it: a human portrait in which eros guides the search for justice and happiness. The book was one of the six finalists for the 2026 Strega Prize.
6.30 pmWhat happens when fashion meets the body? Maria Luisa Frisa reads clothes as cultural devices that generate identities, desires and imaginaries, and shows that the body is never given once and for all, but constantly negotiated and rewritten.
6.30 pmMarco Antonio Bazzocchi reconstructs the apartment at Via Fondazza 36 in Bologna, where Giorgio Morandi lived and worked with his sisters from 1930 to 1964: the studio, the objects, the kitchen, the light. Not today’s museum, but the home as it was.
