Factotum, factories of the impossible

Every Sunday during the exhibition Bernd & Hilla Becher. History of a Method, Fondazione MAST held Family Tour Days: free activities for the whole family with a guided tour of the exhibition, the workshop Factotum: Factories of the Impossible, a snack and an animated film.

Nineteenth-century industrial buildings have lost their original purpose over time, but Bernd and Hilla Becher regarded them as true monuments. Inspired by their gaze, in the workshop children, with a parent or an adult, bring “new impossible industries” to life, experimenting with collage and graphic transformations.

The programme: 2.45 pm meeting at the Gallery desk, level 1; 3 to 3.30 pm tour of the exhibition in the MAST.Galleries; 3.30 to 4.30 pm workshop in the MAST.Club; snack at MAST.Caffetteria; 5 pm animated film of the MAST.CineKids series in the MAST.Auditorium, with Cineteca di Bologna. Up to 15 children aged 6 to 11, each with an adult.
